Gallatin, TN -October 13, 2020 – Electronics Recycling Solutions, Gallatin, TN Hosts U.S. Representative John Rose (TN-6).

During a more than hour-long tour of Electronics Recycling Solutions’ facility, U.S. Representative John Rose (TN-6) and VP of Adult Services, Dave Krikac discussed several issues. Included was how ERS helps create jobs for adults with Autism through the ethical recycling of electronics.

Throughout the visit, Representative Rose engaged in lively conversation with ERS employees, 98% of whom are diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum. The employees demonstrated the recycling process from accepting electronics during public drop-off to breaking electronics down, wiping memory, destruction of data, and preparation of parts for distribution to downstream partners or sale on their eBay store.

Representative Rose was very interested in the process, asked numerous questions, and enjoyed some tech humor with the employees. Before leaving, Representative Rose expressed his appreciation and interest in returning.
